I had the auto insurance argument with a former roommate back in the day I was sending off my car insurance and gripeing about all of the extra charges like the uninsured motorist coverage. He wasnt insured and thought he shouldnt have to buy insurance because other drivers have to carry the uninsuerd motorist policy I couldnt get him to comprehend the idea that if everyone had insurance we wouldnt need the extra coverage for the uninsured. Well one day his brakes failed and he was involved in an accident and got in hot water because he wasnt insured ,and everyone involved,but him was an A-hole because he thought he didnt need coverage (it cut into his drinking funds).he ended up paying lots more than he needed to!
