Dick, I think it is called, "That's the way business operates", In other words, you have a product, you advertise big time and convince everyone that this is a "must have". After a few years, some one "discovers" that said product is detrimental to one's health, therefore everything must be torn out and disposed of and replaced with "approved" materials, which just happen to cost approximately 10% more than the older materials. This is good for business, it creates jobs (for a crew of little men from"South of the Border" to remove the old material, and for a crew of people in the "Land of Almost Right" to manufacture the replacement materials). So, you see the detrimental effect It could have had on our economy if we had blindly "thought of this ahead of time". This has been a "Tongue in Cheek" commentary.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
