I really hope you find something. No matter how frustrating it seems, don't give up. If you persue this interest, you will be glad you did and will be something you'll remember for the rest of your life. I wish you had a little more money to work with in this search. Not trying to discourage you at all, but 3-500 in many cases is scrap iron yard melt down price. Words of advice - try not to buy something that is going to be way over your head as far as experience needed to make it run, or impossible to make run. Learning as you go needs to start out with something that you can actually make progress on and learn from. I hope you can find something with the amount of money you got, but if not PLEASE keep saving your money untill you can or better yet, keep saving untill you can afford to buy one that just needs a little bit of work.
