The state provided $2.41 million for employee training and $8 million in assistance for construction, plus $1.8 million it had already spent for a new road to the Gallatin industrial park. Gallatin is pitching in with a 10-year deal that includes an 80-percent reduction in local property taxes, plus a "considerable" but unspecified amount of assistance to buy the land, according to the Journal."
