In my area, we have had a Lowes for many years. I made a few trips to HD about 70 miles away. Then about 8 years ago, we got a HD.
I always went to HD first because it was less crowded and about 1/2 mile closer to me--LOL.
Then about 3 or 4 years ago, HD became supportive of a lifestyle that I am not in agreement with and they openly promoted it.
Lowes, and other businesses have stayed neutral on the subject and it is my personal belief that it should be that way.
I have not been in HD since but occasionally will be told a product is cheaper at HD and Lowes has always matched their price.
Lowes has done things for me that are unbelievable. I have returned items for an exchange or refund, without receipt, and they even looked up my purchase and verified it was close to the date of purchase I gave them!

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen.
