Mixed with a little blue cheese and made into patties, cooked outside over a smokey wood fire. Served on a grilled bun with a slice of your favorite vegetable...tomato is my preferred. Nothing else. Dang those are good!
Finally had our Labor Day cookout today. Didn't get one tenth of the work done I wanted from the crew before feeding them. Ground was a little squishy in places from all the rain. Otherwise a really nice day...worth waiting thru two rain delays. Corn is about 8' high and seems to like the moisture...so it ain't all bad I guess. Soybeans look like the devil though. Last cutting of hay is gonna be a little thin too from the looks of it.
