I'm sure there's some differences between where you are and here in terms of cost... but around here you don't get any kind of meal for less than 10 bucks anymore. Costs that for a combo at a burger joint here. As far as the 30 bucks per meal... I believe that. A lot of stuff around here for a sit down meal ranges from mabey 15 bucks on the low end... the average probably low-mid 20's and the higher end... easily high 30's. I was out last weekend to a nicer place here with a friend... and it was over 85 for the two of us... So the 30 figure... I easily believe if someone was living on hotel/restaurant food every night.
