If you are allowed to hunt with semi autos then that would be a good choice. Here in PA we aren't allowed them. Another faster action is the pump action. My dad has a 7600 and it can run through the 5 round magazine a heck of a lot faster then the bolt action and still keep your eye in the scope and on target. I would like to have the iron sights below and the scope on top. That makes it easier when we are doing drives. But he uses it for deer and has killed many with it. Very reliable gun.
