Jumped the gun a few years ago and bought my grandson a Case/IH toy, remote control tractor. Did not make a big hit w/ him at the time. He is now going on 10 and asked me the other day about it. I said I will dig it out of cupboard and have it powered up for your next visit. Put 4 freshly recharged AA batterys in tractor and 1 freshly charged 9 volt in controller. Would not work. Got book out and it said Do Not Used Rechargeable Batterys. Got some new regular batterys and now it works ? How did that toy know the batterys are rechargeable and not regular ones ? I use the rechargeables for everything else with no problem and feel in long run they save me a little money.
By the way, Grandson is very happy with his "new" toy!
