You can try, but don't forget...I don't live there and the closest tree to the road is probably 7-800 feet across a muddy field. It is not a situation where I can go out and check each morning and i don't spend the time on the property that I used to. Last year was kind of a fluke as I was building a stone BBQ in the center of the property so I happened to be there in a year when the nut crop was huge. That was the first time I ever ate one. I will grant you, they are tasty, but I don't get a lot of opportunity to get them before the wildlife.
