Hi Iam going to take a good guess, This would be your first project if your asking here. If that tractor is as bad as you say, you don't want it unless its free and you can haul it to scrap and get out at a profit.
The tires alone are probably over $1600, there are a lot of Allis tractors in those ranges with trans problems, had 180 and 190 here like that.
you might get lucky on used parts. most of those front axles are junk on them if they have a loader, they can be a week point to. oil by the pail is getting expensive. and other parts in general. I used to do rebuilds and fix to sell I quit 3 years ago and prices are worse now for parts. I just fix by the hour and the customer buys the parts! If you need a loader that could be from 500 - a few or more thousand depending what it is. I think if it was me I would spend the money on a nice one as said by others, and enjoy it. Sounds like if this was your first it will be your last project. you will probably go broke or give up before it's done! Trust me i been round tractors a lot of years, and guys with these kinda projects before, That call me to help them out of trouble. I don't work for free any more either, just because a guy got in to deep and hasn't finished it due to blowing the budget!. Regards Robert
