I get many years out of the simple coil top stoves. I buy electric with self cleaning oven. Get them from Lowes. Have 10 in rental properties, no problems. Perhaps the oldest is 20 years. If you want more than one year, lowes sells an extended warranty. I don't bother buying one. I like lowes free delivery and they will remove the old one or put it outside if you like.
