Some years ago my cousin broke his right arm and had it in a cast that was held out from his body so doing anything was hard. His 96 4x4 Powerstroke needed and oil change bad so I told him I would do it for him (this was in 97). Went to his shop and he had just got back from the Doctor so the truck was already backed in. He said the oil and filter are on the bench and get the big oil pan. I grabbed the big one, Or so I thought! Well you guessed it a 10 quart pan didn't hold 14 quarts! I had never changed oil in a Powerstroke before so I didn't know how much oil was in it. I had a nice mess to clean up before I could finish the oil change. I only did that once! Bandit
