Fellow bought a 16 foot aluminum extension adder from me the other day. He said he owned several rental houses and a handyman he employs reported 2 had been stolen the night before. He still needed a 24 footer.
I asked if he'd checked the scrap yards as there was one nearby. He said he was going to. A couple days later I got a 24 footer and before I listed it for sale I called to ask if he'd found one. He said he went by the scrap yard and while he didn't find his, they had several for sale and he'd bought one.
My question is why would a scrap yard have any good ladder at all??? Regardless of the price they pay for aluminum you can sell a ladder for a whole lot more as a ladder.
