From what I have looked at. Seems like a good unit. Know a man with the Vanguard V engine. On his mower. Stands up pretty well for the abuse he gives it.
From the Briggs units I have worked on. Never had any major problems with them. Not happy with the way some were crammed into the housing. But they did work.Battery charger wasn't the best. Changing the oil on some was a pain.
Voltage and Hz were pretty stable. Load recovery was good.Noise was not that bad. Depending on the housing.Of the name brand units in that range I would say one of the best.
