I'm not sure how the aux is set up on your machine. My NH has the aux on the right travel stick and it pivots up and down and there's also a pin lock on the rear of the stick to prevent it's movement when you want it locked out. There is a visible rod that goes down through the travel stick. Other machines have the aux on a central foot pedal... and some more even have a toggle or momentary switch that controls the aux electronically. I would not rule that out on a Skat Trac... I'd also note that it is not unusual for some of these linkages to seize up when not in use. I've had the bearings on the foot pedals seize on my NH when they are in ~daily~ use...
