basicly it is where blood cant reach a surface and show like a bruise. It will pool or knit itself into an area of flesh and become infected. See it a lot on legs or feet do to hitting the area real hard. Hitch receiver has been a big culprit for this. hit your shin hard and there really isn't much meat to make a bruise so the blood clots deep and becomes infected. Nose could be from nose bleeds or damage to the tissue. Good luck with the meds.
