The 2003 blackout that occurred in the midwest and northeast was in the summer time. Mid-August I think.
Here is my question: I heard that natural gas was out as well due to the pumping station(s) not having the power to put the NG in the lines. Is this true? A fella at where I work said his NG was out. chime in if you know the answer.
