One more thing maybe you didn't think of. By them prohibiting my ability to use that land that is rendered not able to be farmed where the rocks are is what is termed as a "taking through legislation or rule" What that means is any law, rule or program for that matter that restricts a property use relating to Ag production is a "taking", must be done with compensation as set forth in the Constitution.
CRP and other programs including the EQIP which I am in, requires compensation for any set aside lands. This is directly because of the Constitution. So if the township is paying for me to not use this 40 acres of land, I have yet to see a check!
