17 degrees this AM in W SC, down from 25 the previous night. Supposed to warm up to the 40s. At least we don't have snow, it's clear and sunny.
Local farmer has been harvesting beans. This is the second year of notill for the fields. I don't know what the yields are. Except for an inch of rain Monday, we have been dry.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
