Alan: I am not a big fan of the BIG Corporations that are trying to control too much of what is going on in farming. You also need to be aware that the producers of "Food Inc" have their own agenda that is not much better than Monsanto's either. They what the GOVERNMENT to control everything. They want things to be "fair" with the power of law and them making it that way. I know that would not be much better than the current system.
So I would suggest that you check the things that this show is stating as "facts" They lie just as much as the other side. The truth is some where in the middle.
An example of this is the "innocent" Farmer that has been caught growing/selling Round Up ready soybeans several times. If he had been truly growing/cleaning/selling non gmo soybeans he would have not been in any trouble. He was doing these things with Round Up Ready beans and not paying any tech fee.
Also Monsanto did not FORCH anyone to plant their Round Up soybeans. Most did/do it because they feel there is an economic advantage to doing so. There are some farmers that think this advantage has ended and they are planting Non GOM soybeans.
So become more educated on the whole thing and then work to make it better. I do meant this. I do not like the BIG Corporate system that is growing to control too much in the world. So educate your self and lets all work to make things better.
