Back in about 1985 they did the same thing to Home Depot. Bought backup generators and when the storm was over they returned them. Going into the store in the nearest town a week or so later, I bet they had 30 of them lined up on the front isle for sale, "used". Personally I have a little more personal pride and sense of decency than to do that. I kept mine and have it today.
