Having put more hrs on a 4630 & 4640 Useing the same JD 168 Loader Than I care to admit to. It will fit. Tx Jim expanded view is Spot on, We ordered our 168 to fit a 4630 initially so it was simply a bolt off, bolt on process to transfer ours to the 4640. So if there are different width #14 I do not know. What I am Dead sure of is You will have to remove your Front Wt Bracket to install the Loader brackets. Most folks will need a ftont wts from time to time.... JD made a Narrow Front wt Bracket to replace # 8! So your loader brackets and "a" front wt brackets can all be in place When needed. It is a Major PIA to have to drop of the loader brackets, just have a wt bracket in place when it is needed. Hope this helps! Later, John A.
