Dave, I bought a 01 Kalfman, 20+5 dovetail, W/ 2 7500 axles, on Singles, in Spring of 12. P!ss Poor Paint, Floor-- Decent, Brakes good, tires good, not new. Gave 3K for it. Your trailer will be worth IMO about $4500 +-, Depending on how it looks after all the work is done. Here in Central Texas a 28 ft, Tri-axle trailer is Less Desireable than that 20+5, Tandem axle, Single or Dually! Personally, I and every One I know would rather be a Piano player in a Gay Bar as Have to own or use a Tri-axle trailer! You cant' replace it for what you have in it. The way I look at it as long as I use it some and it only cost me tags and a little maintenance what ever I have can rust at my place than sell it and have to beg, borrow steal another the next time I have use of one! It is Your trailer I think $4500 is a working point. But Take it by a local trailer place and get an appraisal on it to see what other local trailer guys think before you price it out too cheap.
