It should be the same everywhere, and I believe, for the most part, it already is. That's the reason I advocate open carry, because most of what the anti-gun crowd tend to latch on to the ones that want to 'brandish' their guns in an attempt to 'make a point' rather than simply carrying them for self defense should the need arise. Like I said, there will always be some of those types in every crowd, and without enough of us being, and carrying responsibly to overshadow the idiots, the idiots are all the anti's and even worse those 'on the fence' are ever going to see. Not to mention, you can see a dozen idiots on TV, but that doesn't have near the effect on people as seeing even half as many in real life. Take it a step further and see someone like me carrying while walking around with my family, and the justification to feel scared, or whatever seems to fade even further.
