If you road it check the front wheel bearings first. Jack the front up under the front of the bolster and wiggle the wheels. Good time to chech the tie rod end play. A tie rod dropping off at 21 MPH could make a bad day. Loose tie rods can make for a long 300 miles driving a wandering, darting tractor. Everything is probably ok but it doesn't take long to check it out. Your mileage will be about 6 MPG. My 1086 used to get somewhere around 1000 miles of roading in about a one month period every fall hauling corn to town.
That said, if you can get a reasonable rate having it trucked, truck it. You have already saved thousands on the purchase. Jim
