Bryce, asking and selling price can be pretty far apart. Local guy up here had an IH M, Swartz WFE, Corn Husker 3 point, good rubber, tire chains power steering and a trip bucket loader. He was asking 2400. Took him a long time to sell it and he finally took 1800 bucks for it. If it would have been a usable to me tractor I would have given him 2400 for it. Good old man, Korean war vet who just had to put his wife of more than 50 years in assisted living. Felt bad for him.
Here an old running square baler like my NH Super 68 is worth about 400 bucks. But that's working. A aux engine baler that's missing the engine and associated parts is worth scrap. I passed on a JD 336 baler 2 years ago with a bale kicker and 3 racks on gears for 3800. I maybe do 100 small squares a year. Didn't need it. I'd like to know where you are at. I could maybe pull that 68 over there and get a couple of grand for it  !
