I would remove the tank from the vehicle and clean it out and pour in Red Kote fuel tank liner in it. It's a liquid kind of like paint that you just tip the tank at different angles until the stuff completely covers the tank and pour out the excess and let dry. I've had gas tanks that had hundreds of pin hole leaks in the bottom and the Red Kote fixed it.
