Ya,there has to be a change in attitude about the need to wear a suit and tie to work. The high paying blue collar jobs are coming back. To some extent,college isn't even the answer. My daughter manages a dental office just by working her way up on the job. My son in law got his foot in the door with nothing but his eight years of experience in the Air Force. My oldest son went to Auto/Diesel school and has a good job running an engine machine shop. He bought some machines of his own a few months ago and is starting to get some engines coming in to his own shop. Like I said,the younger boy runs CNC in the shop where he works and they're sending him to school to learn the whole gamut of machining on the company dime. And they all live here fairly close to home. The boys within a mile of me,the daughter about 45 minutes away. Jobs are like luck,it's a matter of being prepared to take advantage of opportunity.
