Lost my teen age sweetheart wife of 48.5 yrs in 2010 due to a heart attack. Caught me totally off guard.
On Chemo, it's not all bad. I had terminal lymphnode cancer in 2013. Took the prescribed 6 treatments (which I had earlier said I'd never do but seemed to be the thing to do at the time) which terminated in Sept of that year. Been clean ever since and feel fine.
On where do you go from here, give yourself time to sort things out. I realized after a couple of months that things were going down hill and I was lonely. I did something about it and have been happy for the last 4 years. Was the right thing for me to do. May or not be the right thing for you. Keep a positive attitude and get on with your life. She would have wanted you to do that.
