I've been to Leon's, but didn't see any Vettes. Don't remember anything inside buildings either, too busy watching out for snakes while looking for an F150 cab, which we found. Wonderful place.
There was a similar junkyard further south near me, but now gone. I miss those old self-service junkyards. Always cheap, and full of treasures.
BTW, when I heard what that Alfa would be worth in good condition, I almost decided to keep it. One can now even buy a new floor pan, along with the body parts that were too far gone to salvage.
Then I took a 2800 mile trip at Thanksgiving in my TT. Somebody else can drive that Alfa, worth many times more than my TT. Similar cars in many respects. Older and maybe wiser now, this trip I didn't get 2 speeding tickets in 2 states in less than 2 hrs, in a much faster car with W tires.
