When my daughter was 10 we made a road trip from Phoenix to Anchorage. Ford van with 460 and a 32 foot Holiday Rambler trailer. I made up a lot of games and projects for the trip but one stands out. I showed her how to brew a pot of coffee. And then fill a Thermos. I told her she was the coffee waitress and I would pay hew 10 cents per cup. I loaded up with dimes. ' After the first day she couldn't wait get on the road, and every 15 minutes of the morning it was "are you ready for another cup of coffee?" As she grew up she "sold" me, fruit, sandwiches, iced tea, and even ice cream bars on various road trips. She always had a hoard of stuff to sell me in the trailer. All marked up 50% LOL
