Ok so you do have Subterranean termites.
There is 3 ways to treat them.
1) Bait stations. This is best left to the pros.
2) Repellent ground sprays. (old way of treating termites) These are OK but they only repel termites; do not kill them. If you leave 1 inch of untreated area they will find a way in. Some examples of these sprays are....
3)Non repellent ground sprays. This is the modern way of killing termites. It does not repel them. They tunnel into the treated area and it kills them. It will also kill termites in wood when they return to the soil for water. Some examples of these sprays are...

If it were me; I would use either Premise (imidacloprid) Termidor (fipronil) or Phantom (chlorfenapyr) to spray the ground around the building and Bora-care (Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate) to treat the wood.
