No sir, they were not Pioneers. Pioneer started out in the 50's as IEL in Vancouver BC. Poulon stared out in Alto, Tx right after WW2then to Shreveport , La. Pioneer was eventually sold to OMC in the 60's and remained there until 1977, was employee owned until 1983 when it was sold to Electrolux-Husqvarana which had something to do with the Pioneer-Partner brand at one point. Poulon was acquired by Husqvarna long after Pioneer was was gone. Pioneer and Poulon were never associated with each other.
