I had problems with my desk top HP computer a few weeks ago.
My son got it going again but some things are different.
I have windows 7 internet explorer and before my problems, I could highlight word/words and it would appear in the very top left window, without having to paste. Also there was a history of words I had searched previously.
This was very convenient and I miss it.
I am sure it is a simple matter of "settings" but have looked through internet options, right clicked at top of screen and checked "File, Edit, View, Tools, with no help.
As you can see, I don't know a lot about "computer terms"
