those generation fords are prone to rust, hard to find one without it for that price i would even venture to say impossible and you wont kill the 4.9, i have one a reg cab 2wd and can get 22 mpg all highway and 17 ish mixed with 16 all town. these motors can go 300k plus, have seen one personally do 465,876 before the main shaft in trans went out and driveline flop from it took out the rear end
