I think a person could take an old combine with a grain head, take the reel and cutter bar off. Then using the remaining auger for the first stage, block the feeder house with a steel plate and mount the second stage there. The challenge would be the space between the auger and the back of the grain table, might have to be some sort of funnel lift. I think it would work.
