Are you sure it is 24v? Most are line voltage, best be sure, makes a difference on the wire and thermostat.
If it is line voltage, need line voltage stat, 2 wires and a ground. It probably won't have a fan only option, but you can add another switch, need 1extra wire.
If it's 24v, 3 wire tstat wire, common, heat, fan. I like the basic digital battery operated tstat. No particular brand, no frills.
