If sound doesn't matter why do people make their motorcycles louder, put glass packs on trucks, special mufflers on 4 cylinder Honda to make it sound like a race car, loud boom boxes if it isn't all about calling attention to themselves? So electronically enhancing the sound of an engine makes perfect scene. Just wait someone will figure out how to connect it to their stereo to attract attention.
