I have a labborder collie mix, with about 1 acre of invisible fence. With proper training, most dogs will accept it. Training is the key. I had a hound rescue dog before, and he respected it because he was trained about 2 months to know his borders. He was tempted many a time to chase a rabbit or squirrel, but stopped when he got to the border. There are many options out there, mine is from a company called Pet Defence. I recommend it, may only be available in certain areas.
