I actually have little sympathy for anyone running out of fuel. Always fill up when you are above 1/4 and fill up plumb full. There are too many places to get fuel to pass them up and run out.I don't know about out west or remote areas,but there I would advise to carry extra fuel. Fill up before you come home,not when you leave the next day:plan ahead ! Heck-power could go out and then you can't fill up ! I never trust the guage nearly as much as the tripmeter or odometer. Keeping the tank full also reduces condensation and rust.Mark
