Another side to the coin tho.Some of these idiots that put these detour signs up have no sense on where they are put as far as telling you anything as far as miles to the closure or such because you may be able to or your destination is within that space and the detour puts you on the wrong side.Locals are pretty good,but state and federal are almost impossible to understand at times.
