Got an H Farmall that I bought on a consignment auction a year ago and it never has run quite as smooth as it should.
I've gone through everything else, carb, ignition, etc., even checked the valve lash. Next is to check for an intake leak. It also has a serious growl in the transmission, but if I can get it running right I'll just mount my log splitter on it permanently. The pump on the splitter runs off the PTO.
My other H with the loader on it has been in the family over 50 years. If I can buy another healthy H or M for a reasonable price, I'll swap the loader over and restore the H that's been in the family.
