I would just weld a piece of tube to the bottom or top of the frame going back to the axle. Then put bolts through a plate on top of the axle to a plate welded to the tube. Done. The axles are not a diamond but a hexagon. 6 sided. At least on our 06,56,66 series. With the tube under the axle it will be limited by what the tractor can hold down. Provided the welding is good.
