Well, most farmers. . . Dad also had a day job when we had the dairy, and I had to go out in the pasture and get the cows in at about 4 AM, so he could get them milked before work. Daylight saving was a nightmare in the spring- cows thought they had another hour to sleep, and were a real struggle to get in. You'd no sooner get one up and going, and the one before was lying down again. Took lots of yelling and arm-waving.
