I'll always be kicking myself for trading that 1020 Deere for an Oliver 500 before I could paint the Deere Oliver green and clover white. I even had a couple of Oliver serial tags here that I was going to put on the tractor and the engine. I planned to put Oliver 1265 decals on it and change the front emblem to an Oliver shield badge off a 1600 parts tractor. I even had a good story about how Deere came to Oliver begging for a decent utility after the 1010/2010 disaster, then Deere bought the tooling and took it to Manheim after the White debacle. If I ever find a cheap 1020 or 2020 at an auction,I'll still do it. It's revenge for all the Oliver Super 55's I've seen painted JD green with yellow wheels.
