I agree with Steve about disconnecting batteries before buying new ones. Matching new batteries are highly reccomended but not absolutly nessary. For a more meaningful test,substitute an amp meter for the test light and note how many amps/miliamps are being drawn. 50ma is normal on your 06. You need to pull fuses below steering wheel also. Here's a helpful tip while pulling dash fuses. Trip the drivers door latch then leave door open throughout time you are pulling fuses and checking meter. Be sure to alow electronics to go to sleep before recording draw and pulling fuses.
