Goodyear in Akron Ohio still runs the Blimps. They are very helpful and nice people. My dad was an engineer for the blimp team in the 50's and 60's. For my tenth birthday he arranged a ride for me. What a cool thing that was. As luck would have it, my line of work brought me back to Akron to help with the displays they have on the sides. And stranger still, the chief pilot grew up 1/2 mile away from me in my hometown in PA.
