Tractor belongs to a friend of mine in the San Juan Islands. Has been very difficult for me to help my friend first determine model of tractor then order the parts to repair it. I live 100 miles from where the tractor is located. Working on the tractor at present as I'll be where the tractor is located for a week. Thought we had determined that the tractor is an 871. Noticed that the hood says 4000 ford. Transmission is select 0 shift, 10 speed ahead, with 2 reverse. single speed pto. I 've never driven a tractor with a select o shift. I think this tractor has pieces from several tractors especially tin ware.
