Can anyone tell me where I might find a distributor for a Continental F226 flat head engine (6 cylinder)? Trying to get a neighbors Michigan Power Shovel loader going, and in addition to other problems I think the distributor has not be greased since it left the factory 30 or 40 years ago, and the shaft and bushing are useless. The ID plate is missing, but it uses Delco points and Rotor, However this same engine was used in The Massey 101 Senior (SR), and Massey 44-6, both of which were equipped with Autolite distributors according to manuals I have looked at. At this point, any distributor that will fit I will be happy with. Then I can go on to look at other suspected problems.
Any help with where to get another distributor would be appreciated.
